英國來的準♂新郎，準備在未婚妻的故鄉波蘭舉行傳統婚禮。婚禮前夕收到別墅做大禮，當他興高采⌒ 烈在院子開挖，準備為兩人未來的家整理新貌，卻意外挖出一具白骨。 婚禮當天，熱鬧的筵席從白天進行到黑夜，觥籌交錯間，新郎開始失態，還冒出流利的意第緒語。岳父擔心他有癲癇，大舅子以為他借酒裝瘋，還有個醋罈子不斷挑釁。當新娘在一旁乾焦急的時候，一位老人家發現附在新郎身上的鬼，竟是他認識的女子，情況更加混亂詭異??。 波蘭導演馬辛羅納以現代視角講述猶太傳說，新郎著了魔固然恐怖，但眾人企圖粉飾太平的瘋狂執念，更像惡鬼現形。以色列帥哥伊泰提倫把準新郎從瀟灑男兒郎變成一身二魂、備受折磨到徹底失控，演得入木三分。而本片導演於波蘭首映前╳陳屍酒店的噩耗，則讓這個關於詛咒的故事，更添離奇色彩。
